Paul Revere is a man who had so many ideas and did so many wonderful things for the colonies. He had many children, companies, and great works of arts. I got some time to ask him some questions about his life.
when I fist talked with him I asked him a basic question of childhood.
Q: Where were you born and in what year?

A:My first wife was Sarah Revere. (Orne) And my second wife was Rachel Revere. (Walker) Through both of my marriges with them i had eight children with each of them. All together I had sixteen children in both of my marriges.
Q:Throughout both of your marriges how many children died before the age of five and who were they?
A:My fist child who died was Mary Revere in the years 1764-1765, Isannah Revere 1772-1773, John Revere died wile his mother was giving birth, Lucy Revere also died at birth, and I had another child named John Revere who died from 1783-1786. All together I had five children who died before the age of five.
Q:You learned the art of gold and silver smithing from your father. At what age did you finish with your apprenticeship?
A:When I finished with my apprenticeship I was at the age of nineteen.
You had many achievements in your life. There were companies that are continuing your work such as "Revereware." You made a big impact on the American Colonies.
Q:Your parents worked with many crafts. As you grew up and learned about being a goldsmith and silversmith you also learned how to deal with the type of metals. What were some of the items you and your employers produced?
A:My employers and I can make something as a simple spoon. If you really wanted somrthing wonderful and outstanding we would make tea sets.
Q:In the years 1768-1775 you were a dentist. We know that all dentist clean teeth but, did you do anything else in the mouth area?
A:I'm glad you asked that question. I did clean teeth as well as putting in false teeth. The false teeth I put in would be carved out of walrus ivory of animal teeth.
Q:In the year 1801 you opened North America's first Cooper rolling mill. When it first came to the public you called it,"Revere Cooper and Brass, Inc..." What was or is still so special about these pots and pans you produced?
A:Our pots and pans are very unuasul in its own way. What is so special about these pots and pans is that the bottom of them is the color of cooper.
Q:At the Cooper rolling mill you produced cooper sheets. What was one thing the cooper sheets were used for?
A:Well the cooper sheets were used for many uses. I would say they wre used for the boilers on steamships.
Q:After the cooper rolling mill you started another company to make vells. What was the year you casted your first bell?
A:When I casted my first bell it was in the year of 1792.
Q:Did you give your first bell to anybody or place in particular?
A:Yes I did give away my first bell. My church called,"the Second Curch of Boston," got the first bell I made.
Q:In your opinion what do you feel is your greatest accomplishment?
A:I think my greatest accomplishment is publishing the bloody massacre cartoon, which was used in the color red to represent the British as well as the blood that was shed that night. For the colonists I used the colors blue, green, brown, and black. I felt that this print gave gave a powerful influence on the outspeken British public.
Q:I want you to think really carefully about this question. If you could go back in time and change one event in your life what would it be and why?
A:If I could go back in time I would change my ride to Lexington. The reason for that is because I failed my mission to warn the people that were in danger. I failed my mission because I got delayed. If I didn't fail my mission I could of stopped a disasture waiting to happen .
It was a pleasure of having you answer some of my questions. You really changed the colonies for the good of man kind. Your great helped America in so many ways and hopefully they will continue in the future of America.
